Notifications: what Lupibu sends
In short: Lupibu sends a "Time to wind down" push about 15 minutes before the predicted put-down time, plus one morning insight a day. Pushes are opt-in; nothing arrives at night (21:00–07:00).
We deliberately keep pushes rare — only when there's something worth saying.
What pushes exist
- "Time to wind down" — about 15 minutes before the predicted time of the next put-down, so you can start the routine before overtiredness.
- Morning insight — once a day, a short AI-generated note about your baby's rhythm. Opens in chat.
When a push will NOT arrive
- At night — quiet hours run 21:00–07:00; nothing comes through.
- While a sleep timer is running — if sleep is already being logged, there's nothing to remind you about.
- During a night waking — Lupibu won't suggest "winding down" in the middle of the night.
Turning it on
Pushes are off by default — they're your choice, not ours.
- Profile → "Notifications" — toggle
- First time you flip it on, iOS asks for system permission
- If permission is blocked, you'll see an "Open Settings" shortcut → iOS Settings → Lupibu → Notifications
When the permission prompt appears
Lupibu first offers to enable reminders on one of the last onboarding steps — with an explanation of what they're for. "Not now" blocks nothing: you can enable them anytime in Profile.
Why a push arrived "at the wrong time"
Predictions aren't perfect — especially in the first days or during schedule shifts. "Why is my prediction off?" explains what affects accuracy.
