Are my voice messages private?
In short: Voice goes to the server for recognition but is not kept as audio. Only the parsed text entry is stored.
Privacy is one of Lupibu's core promises. Here's honestly how voice works.
What happens with your voice
- Audio goes to a secure server over an encrypted channel
- The audio goes straight to the model (Gemini Flash family, Google Vertex AI) — there's no separate transcription step; the model extracts the data from the sound itself
- The output is a structured entry (type, time, details)
- The raw audio is not stored after processing
What we keep
- Only the final text entry — same as if you typed it yourself
- All data lives tied to your account on our servers
What we DO NOT do
- No selling data to advertisers
- No using your entries to train public models
- No sharing with third parties without your consent
Full control
Delete your account — and all data with it — anytime, right in the app. The only export today is the sleep PDF report (see "Exporting data and deleting your account").
